Aikido Fellowship Seminar - Sept. 30, 2017
What We Do
Welcome to Spirit Aikido Training Center in Eden Prairie, where we have been teaching and training since 2011. We offer a full range of martial arts training, fitness classes, as well as health, nutrition, and rehab services. We want to help you build a better you: stronger, more capable, healthy, and confident. Our dojo is one of the few that offers traditional Japanese martial arts on the Minneapolis side of the Twin Cities metro area.
Our philosophy is that each of us have three distinct and interconnected aspects: Body, Mind, and Spirit. A healthy person is strong in each, and our mission is to help improve this balance through sharpening the mind and body. A healthy spirit cannot reside in an unhealthy body or with an unhealthy mind. We achieve balance through physical culture and martial arts training. The martial arts approach includes the study and application of strategy, which is one way we improve the mind.
We host a variety of martial arts at Spirit: Aikido, Judo, Okinawan Karate, Kobudo, Katori Shinto Ryu, and the Twin Cities Martial Arts Meetup Group. Go to our Martial Arts page for more information on the arts we host and contact information for them. If it is aikido you are interested in, there are many different perspectives being taught out there. We encourage you to check out our Mission and Philosophy to find out more about our approach. We want you to find the right fit for the growth you are looking for.
If you are looking into a martial art or dojo but are not sure which one to choose, then take a look at our Choosing a Martial Art or Dojo page. We are well connected to the Twin Cities martial arts community and know instructors in many different arts (not just the arts we host), and would be delighted to help you find what you are looking for even if we are not it.
Take as much time as you like exploring this site, and feel free to contact us or stop by for a visit. If you do wish to stop by, it is best to do so before class so we can meet each other. We offer a free introductory class for anyone who wants to try us out before making a decision.
For those who are interested, here is our Aikido Pricing information.
